NATALIE X VTOGRAPHY [PART 2]

Do you remember Natalie? I first photographed her last summer at the beach and was so impressed with her natural grace in front of the camera that I invited her back for more. This time we chose to make boudoir photos indoors, so we didn’t have to fend off obnoxious families standing literally three feet in front of my camera. Go read last year’s post for more on that.

Natalie was an amazing talent in front of the camera again, hitting poses naturally and confidently without any awkwardness. Her face and body have some natural sharp angles which lend themselves well to boudoir photos, especially a couple images I converted to black and white. The two black and white images you see below were captured using the wider end of the Nikon 24-120mm FX ƒ/4G ED VR Zoom Lens. It’s not a lens I use often for these types of photos (I typically use it for events) but it came in handy here. The next lens on my wish list is the Sigma 35mm ƒ/1.4 DG HSM Art lens, which would take over a lot of the wide angle duties for my type of shooting.

We stirred up quite a storm on social media after posting Natalie’s boudoir photos this week — she gained over 100 new followers on Instagram in just two days! Follow @natface31 on Instagram to see more. As a recent broadcasting graduate, there’s a good chance you’ll see or hear Natalie pop up somewhere soon.

Location was the beautiful Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
